Our Multi-Screen Hybrid Apps leverage both native SDK and HTML5 to deliver custom designed front-end solutions. The Aspiro TV applications include design, development and road-mapped features of the apps across multiple screens.
HTML5 elements provide a single and replicated look for all Multi-Screen apps, including Mobiles, Tablets, Connected TVs, STBs & Gaming Consoles. The benefit of the common elements within the apps include flexible server side changes and quick time-to-market. By shifting major components of the applications from native SDK to HTML5; we are able to create customised UI/UX, unique to each of our customers ´desired features and brand. The native SDK still retains access to the multiple distribution stores of all devices.
The Media Access API is the single integration point for all the apps across devices. The multiple screens can use this single Aspiro developed API to enrich content by allowing multiple integrations to 3rd party services including Recommendation Engines, Metadata providers, Social Integrations, CMSs and CRMs.
End users will have direct access to 3rd party services relevant to the content they are viewing in real time, without ever having to navigate outside of the client app.
We can also implement the Media Access API and front-end Multi-Screen Apps as a stand-alone service for existing platform owners.
