Content providers

Aspiro will sell the mobile content services the market is demanding through its distribution channels. Aspiro is an attractive partner for the biggest content providers through its market leadership and well-extended distribution network, particularly in the Nordic and Baltic regions. Contracts with high-quality suppliers offer Aspiro access to the content consumers are demanding, such as popular music and Java games, and can thus be an attractive partner for mobile operators and media corporations.

Aspiro collaborates with a wide array of content providers, including the biggest B2B providers in mobile content services. Aspiro’s partners include major multinational record companies like SonyBMG and EMI, with deals covering music distribution rights and access to artist images and promo material. The acquisition of Schibsted Mobile brought Aspiro access to content from Universal Music.

In 2005, Aspiro signed contracts with Warner Music for the Nordic region. Aspiro also began collaborating with a number of local record companies in the Nordic region, enabling access to local content. Most record company deals also cover distribution rights for original music.
Aspiro holds the rights to distribute games from leading players like Electronic Arts, Glu, IPlay, Real Networks, Infospace and Mforma. Aspiro attracted several new suppliers in the year including THQ, Ifone, Digital Chocolate, Jamdat and Wonderphone. The company continually screens existing and potential suppliers, to ensure its access to the right content.
